Missile Defense and US Nuclear primacy

The transatlantic ‘link’ between the US and Europe is key to sustain Anglo-American power and hegemony. Key to sustain the transatlantic link is to maintain the division between ‘Old Europe’ and ‘New Europe’ and between Europe and Russia. The more oil and gas flowing from Russia to Europe, the weaker these divisions will become and this will pose a threat to US dominance. An attempt to reinforce the divisions and announce intent to remove the last obstacle to global hegemony, that is Russias strategic nuclear arsenal, was made in a 2006 article written by two military analysts in Foriegn Affairs.
Forign Affairs: The Rise of US Nuclear Primacy
The current and future U.S. nuclear force, in other words, seems designed to carry out a preemptive disarming strike against Russia or China.
It also explained the role of the planned missile defense in Poland and the Czech republic.
…the sort of missile defenses that the United States might plausibly deploy would be valuable primarily in an offensive context, not a defensive one — as an adjunct to a U.S. first-strike capability
The response was swift.
Financial Times: Nuclear punditry can be a dangerous game
The world is confronting a serious challenge associated with Iran’s nuclear programme. The united stance of the US, Europe, Russia and China is a key prerequisite if we are to deal with this challenge. In the circumstances, mutual suspicion of nuclear strike preparations form the worst backdrop for such co-operation. Were I an Iranian leader, I would have paid a handsome fee for such an article.
This have sparked a recent arms race, as Putin remarked:
Putin press conference at G8 in Heiligendamm
Is it perhaps to ensure that we carry out these retaliatory measures? And to prevent a further rapprochement between Russian and Europe?
The missile defense is not NATO and will make Europe a nuclear target, still no European country except Poland and the Czech republic have been asked. Europeans are strangely silent about this, everything seems to be at stake and nothing to gain.
..if this missile system is put in place, it will work automatically with the entire nuclear capability of the United States. It will be an integral part of the US nuclear capability.
This is the background and partial context of medias campaign to demonize Russia. The notion of a new cold war in the making is deceptive, because this time MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) is replaced with first-strike capability and pre-emptive doctrines multiplying the risk for a devastating nuclear war. This is further compounded by Bush’s Conplan 8022…
Engdahl: Putin & the Geopolitics of the New Cold War
It could be triggered by the mere ‘perception’ of an imminent threat, and carried out by Presidential order, without Congress.
… and nuclear incidents such as the B52 from Minot AFB showing that security systems are no longer reliable. Russia will of course rebuild its retaliation capacity, but just because of that, and before the capacity is restored, there will be an eerie incentive to attack. The 1962 Cuban missile crisis comes to mind as an apt comparison. The difference this time is that its really not a war between countries or coalitions of countries, but a war against all countries and humanity waged by a small elite embedded in our power structures. I dont know who they are the nwo, bankers, transnationals whatever, but this Russian general had something interesting to say in 2004:
Without question the leading role is played here by the 358 richest people on Earth
A number given with remarkable precision, the type of number you get by counting names on a compiled list.
